TNT Tech Club, Spring 2024

The Salvation Army Kroc Center
March - May
TNT provided a custom curated selection of AI art, beatmaking, and digital art sessions using popular emerging tech platforms such as ChapGPT, Adobe Firefly, Sound Trap, and Adobe AERO.  The Club culminated with the students' work being featured in TNT's signature Live at the Black Hawk augmented reality (AR) experience located at the corner of Turke and Hyde in the Tenderloin.  This Club was partially sponsored by a generous grant from the San Francisco Art Commission.

TNT Tech Club, Summer 2023

The Boys and Girls Club
June - July Summer Camp
TNT worked with BGC's middle school youth through out their summer camp on a neighborhood-based Placemaking project. The students first visited the Tenderloin Museum to learn more about their neighborhood's history.  They then designed their dream neighborhood.  And finally created digital art reflecting their favorite historical story about their neighborhood and SF.  The Club culminated in a showcase opportunity with the students' work being featured in TNT's signature Live at the Black Hawk augmented reality (AR) experience located at the corner of Turke and Hyde in the Tenderloin.  This Club was partially sponsored by a generous grant from the San Francisco Art Commission.

Boys and Girls Club

We are excited to be partnering again IN-PERSON with the Boys and Girls Club to connect Tenderloin youth with fun, emerging tech!  Using Imagilab's Imagi Charms, BGC middle schoolers are learning how to create cool, digital, interactive art using Python.

TNT provided virtual, remote music tech and music composition sessions using Sound Trap and other popular music collaboration platforms in partnership with Today's Future Sound to middle and high school youth affiliated with the Tenderloin Boys and Girls Clubhouse.

Mission Boys and Girls Club

TNT partnered with Tinker Tech to bring maker classes to the Boys and Girls Club Mission Clubhouse. The middle schoolers learned to create circuits and code as part of a hands-on build design curriculum using lego like building blocks.

Tenderloin Boys and Girls Club

TNT partnered with Novaby to create and teach a fun augmented reality design curriculum for the Tenderloin middle schoolers at the Boys and Girls Club.  The youth designed and created digital assets and conducted field research for a fun, history-based AR experience about their neighborhood.  Originally planned for a Spring 2020 launch, the AR experience will be launched during the summer of 2021.
